The Process
From growing region to export container — traceable, quality-assured, and delivered on time.
Starting Point
Sourcing Brief & Product Specification
Define your commodity requirements — origin preferences, grade specifications, processing method, certifications (organic, Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade), quantities, and target delivery period. Share cupping or sensory standards where relevant.
1–2 Weeks
Origin Identification & Supplier Matching
We identify the most suitable supply partners — co-operatives, estates, exporters, or processors — aligned with your origin, grade, and certification requirements. We work directly at origin rather than through commodity brokers.
2–3 Weeks
Quality Evaluation & Sample Request
We evaluate physical samples or green lots against your specifications — arranging cupping sessions or sensory evaluations and confirming supply meets your required standard before commitment.
1–2 Weeks
Price Negotiation & Commercial Terms
Pricing is negotiated directly with origin partners. For ongoing programmes, we structure forward agreements that provide seasonal price stability and supply continuity.
1 Week
Order Confirmation & Export Preparation
The supply partner prepares the shipment — milling, grading, sorting, and bagging to specification. All export documentation requirements are confirmed at this stage.
1 Week Before Loading
Pre-Shipment Inspection & Certification
A pre-shipment inspection verifies weight, grading, moisture content, and packaging integrity. Phytosanitary certificates, certificate of origin, and trade certification documents are obtained and verified.
At Origin Port
Container Loading Supervision & Export
Container loading is supervised to ensure correct bagging, stacking, and securing. Fumigation certificates and container inspection reports are completed where required.
Ocean: 2–6 Weeks Depending on Origin
Shipment & Transit Monitoring
We track the shipment from origin port to destination, monitoring transit milestones and providing regular updates throughout transit.
On Arrival
Arrival Documentation & Customs Clearance Support
Complete documentation is prepared and ready for customs clearance at destination. We support import brokers and buyers with documentation queries as needed.
Ongoing
Ongoing Supply Programme Management
For recurring buyers, we manage the supply relationship season by season — tracking harvest progress, communicating quality updates, and securing forward allocations to protect supply continuity.
